KASSAVA (“we”, “us”) is a small-batch wellness drinks brand based in Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia. We keep things simple — in our bottles and in how we handle your data. This page explains what little we collect and why.

## What we collect

**Email address (optional).** If you join our inner circle, we store the email address you provide. Sign-ups use double opt-in: your subscription only becomes active once you confirm it via the email we send you. We don’t run analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on this website.

**Functional cookies.** Our shop software (WooCommerce) sets a small number of strictly functional cookies — for example to remember what’s in your cart while you browse. These contain no advertising or cross-site tracking.

**Theme preference.** If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved locally in your own browser (localStorage). This never leaves your device.

## How we use your email

Solely to send you inner-circle updates: early access to fresh batches, member-only drops and occasional offers. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

## Where your data lives

This website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger on servers in the Asia-Pacific region. Subscriber data is stored within our website’s database and processed via the MailPoet email plugin and its sending service. Our host may process technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) as part of operating its service.

## Links to other services

Our site links to Instagram for ordering and updates. Once you leave our site, Meta’s own privacy terms apply. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the data practices of external platforms.

## Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Message us on [Instagram @kassava.bali](https://www.instagram.com/kassava.bali/) and we’ll take care of it promptly. If you’re in the EU/EEA, you also have the rights granted under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

## Data retention

We keep subscriber emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Functional shop cookies expire automatically.

## Changes to this policy

When our online checkout with payment processing goes live, we will update this policy before launch and note the new date above.
